As Deepak Jagdish, demonstrated his ‘Sonique’ software to his idol, chairman of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates, a sense of fulfilment satiated his mind, for his ‘dream was realised.’

Not only Jagdish, but all the six finalist team members of the Imagine Cup hosted by Microsoft Corporation would not forget the day when they tried to make the ‘richest man on earth’ learn new things.

“These are fresh young minds and obviously great programmers,” were the words for the finalists from Bill Gates.

The seven finalists from India, Brazil, UK, USA, Japan, Germany and South Korea would now be competing for the final in New Delhi between August 6-12.

Team Brazil’s Virtual Eye software, South Korean team's fitness project that tells how many calories you have burned and Germany team’s project that would help wheelchair-bound people navigate streets and get around obstacles, also earned enough laurels from Gates.
