The body of a 26-year-old Indian salesman in Oman was found hanging in his room here after he had gone home for lunch.
The victim, identified by his friends as Siby, was found dead in his room in Bahla town of Ad Dakhiliyah governorate on Monday, The Times Of Oman reported.
Siby, a Keralite, was running an automobile spare parts shop in the gulf country.
"He left the shop at around 1pm and went to his room for lunch. He was supposed to return by 3pm, but when he didn't turn up and did not answer his phone his sponsor went to the accommodation at around 4pm to look for him.
"When they opened the door of his room, Siby was found hanging. Police was called immediately and the Indian embassy was informed. Police rushed to the scene and moved the body to the hospital," his friends said.
