Indian women's hockey team for Doha named

Jyoti Sunita Kullu will lead the Indian women's hockey team in the Asian Games to be held in Doha in December, it was announced in Delhi on Friday.

The Indian Women's Hockey Federation (IWHF) announced a 16-member squad along with a six-member support staff.

Olympian M.K. Kaushik remains the national coach while former woman international Rajbeer Kaur is the manager.

Squad: Jyoti Sunita Kullu (captain), Dipika Murty, Marita Tirkey, Suman Bala, Binita Toppo, Pushpa Pradhan, Rajwinder Kaur, Asunta Lakra, Joydeep Kaur, Subhadra Pradhan, Surinder Kaur, Mamta Kharb, Saba Anjum, Jasjeet Kaur, Binita Xess and Ritu Rani

Support staff: M.K. Kaushik (national coach), Rajbeer Kaur (manager), Anurita Saini (assistant coach), A.B. Subbaiah (goal-keepers' coach), Suraj Kumar (physiotherapist), videographer (to be named)

Technical officials: Amrit Bose (assistant tournament director), Neeta Dumre (judge) and Sunita Pant (umpire)
