Low cost carrier IndiGo today announced the introduction of new flights connecting Dubai with Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi.
The tickets for these sectors opened today and the flights would be operational effective August 2012, IndiGo said in a statement.
Besides the introduction of new sectors, IndiGo would begin its second daily and direct flights between Delhi-Dubai and Delhi-Bangkok sectors, it said.
Recently, the carrier had announced its international flights from Delhi to Muscat and Kathmandu, Dubai, Singapore and Bangkok as well as Mumbai to Bangkok and Dubai.
"In line with our endeavour to meet the requirements of both business and leisure travellers, IndiGo has opened ticket bookings effective today on its Dubai route," IndiGo, president, Aditya Ghosh said.
Effective August, India would add new flights connecting Dubai to India's key destinations like Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kochi, he added.
