THE INDORE Division U-15 team has entered the final in the A W Kanmadikar U-15 cricket tournament played in the City on Friday.
In the semifinal match, Indore division beat Jabalpur by an innings and 122 runs. In the first innings, host Indore had piled up 504/6 declared.
Parth Sahani showed his brilliant batting performance to score a classic 160 runs in 188 balls with 17 boundaries and Sarthak Kohili scored an unbeaten 70 runs in 124 balls with three boundaries.
In reply, Jabalpur division was able to score only 171 runs with Javed Khan scoring 50 runs with seven boundaries and Anupam made 21. After scoring a brilliant century, Parth Sahani bowled well to capture three wickets and Kunal Babbar, Sandeep Sharma and Saransh Jain took two wickets each.
In the second innings, Jabalpur scored 211 runs. Amay Shivare showed his class to score a quick 95 runs in 95 balls with 17 hits to the fence while Sourab Khare scored 31.
Saransh Jain bowled well to capture three wickets for 56 in 19 overs and Amit Waj Sanghvi took two wickets to help their team to win the match by an innings and 122 runs to enter the finals.
Earlier in the quarterfinals, Indore division had routed Sagar division.
