Indore Colts, Indore Sports enter second round

INDORE COLTS and Indore Sports entered the second round in the 20-20 cricket match for the YC-J S Anand Adroit Trophy played at Yeshwant Club grounds in the City on Monday. In the first match, Indore Colts beat Khanuja Cricket Club by five wickets. Gaurav Lashkari scored 42 and Rajesh Kanojia took two wickets to help their team’s victory.

Indore Sports routed Dynamic Sports by 140 runs in the second match. Parth Kasliwal scored 72 in 38 balls and took two wickets to help his team enter the second round.

RAJESH KANUNGO of Madhya Pradesh has been appointed manager by the Zurkhaneh Federation of India for the Indian team that will take part in the 1st Asian Zurkhaneh Championship to be held at Tehran, Iran from November 18 to 24. M P Zurkhaneh Association has congratulated Rajesh for his appointment.

SAJJAD KHAN memorial prize money football tournament organised by Indore Bagan Football Club will begin from November 17. The winning team will be awarded cash prize money of Rs 5001 and the runner-up will get Rs 3001.Interested clubs to take part in the tournament may contact Narayan Kharbadikar on or before November 16.

Indore district win
INDORE DISTRICT won the M P Sub Junior Kabaddi title at the 12th M P State Junior Kabaddi tournament that concluded at Bhopal recently. In the final match, Indore district beat Ujjain district to win the coveted trophy. Earlier, Indore district defeated Gwalior district to enter finals. According to their individual performance in the tournament, the Prabhat Club (Indore) players, Mohamed Akram, Manzur Mansuri and Manoj Dave have been selected in the state team to take part in the National Kabaddi tournament to be held at Himachal Pradesh.

Indore eves in final
INDORE WOMEN team has entered the finals of the State-level women badminton tournament played at Bhopal. The team would clash against Sagar for the coveted title in the final. In the semifinal match, Indore eve beat Ujjain 2-0.
