Indore dist women win badminton title

INDORE DISTRICT women’s badminton team won the championship in the district-level badminton tournament organised by Sartaj Academy under the aegis of Sports and Youth Welfare Department at Narayan Bagh Balvikas Kendra.

In the under-13 category, Rashi Bafna beat Madhuri Phool Mali and Ruchira Joshi defeated Madhduri. Indore beat Khandwa and Jhabua districts to enter the finals. Indore beat Khandwa district in the final by 2-0 to win the championship.

UTD College kabaddi champs
UTD COLLEGE won the district-level inter-collegiate kabaddi tournament organised by Maharaja Ranjit Singh College of Professional Sciences. UTD routed Government College of Arts and Commerce by 105-31 in the final to lift the trophy. Vikram Awardee Rajendra Malakar distributed the prizes to winners. 

St Paul student excels
SAHIL TELANG of St Paul School won a silver medal in the CBSE west zone interschool skating held at Bharitiyam Vidya Niketan in Gwalior recently. Sahil won the second position in Rink Race II. He has been qualified for the National Skating Championship, which will held in Chandigarh from October 26.

SIS students shine
SHISHUKUNJ INTERNATIONAL School students excelled in the state-level chess championship held in Jabalpur and also in skating competition. In the under-10 chess, Pooja Kansal won the first position by scoring 5/5 points while in the under-11 category, Sahil Nanda managed to win the third position.
