Interpol India will shortly get in touch with the Mumbai Police's crime branch for getting legal warrants issued against the 26/11 masterminds.
The warrants would form the basis of getting Interpol red corner notices against 26/11 masterminds like Zakhir-ur-Rahman Lakhvi and other LeT operatives behind the Mumbai Carnage.
India will also share the DNA profiles of Mumbai terror strikes. The DNA profiles, at this stage, would not be shared with the pakistan authorities.
The Home Ministry is believed to finalise the modalities for handing over the DNA samples of the lone surviving terrorist of the Mumbai attack, Kasab and his nine dead accomplices to the Interpol. The ministry has also decided to pass on all relevant details to Pakistan as well this week.
The profiles will be compared against the "world's only global DNA database containing more than 83,000 DNA profiles," Interpol Chief Ronald Noble siad in Islamabad on March 8.
