Khallas enchantress Isha Koppikar is all smiles for item numbers and makes no bones about it. She made hearts flutter with Company (Khallas) and Kaante (Ishq Samundar) and is open to other such offers.

Khallas took me to a different level. It is just the beginning of my long career. I became the trendsetter with this song. I think those who claim they do not need such songs are hypocrites. If a great song like khallas comes my way, I will definitely take it up,” asserts Isha.

She has quite a few films lined up. Shabri  is complete and the film is being readied for a January release. The sultry actress is sporting a de-glam look in the film.

After Don, the Khallas girl has three films, Shabri, Darling and Salaam-e-Ishq, lined up for release.

“The promo should be out in December. I play a gangster, the main protagonist in the film who is the sole breadwinner of the family. She is actually a simple girl but turns a rebel owing to unavoidable circumstances. I think it is one of my best performances so far,” she reveals. Isha has also finished shooting for the first schedule of Ram Gopal Verma’s

Darling

with Fardeen Khan. Also starring Esha Deol, it is a horror film with a dash of comedy, where Esha haunts Isha.

“Esha Deol plays a ghost, while I am playing Ashwini, a grounded middle class Maharashtrian housewife with a conservative value system. Her life revolves around her husband and son. This is the first time I am playing a mother so I am very excited about it,” she adds.

Up next is Salaam-E-Ishq where she is paired opposite Sohail Khan. The film is a story of 6 couples and their trails and tribulations in love. “I am glad I am getting a chance to essay different characters in all my films,” she signs off.
