2 Philosophically bent: His recent projects Parineeta, Salaam Namaste, Being Cyrus and Omkara have been a hit at the BO, but Saif believes “You get things only when you are ready for them."

3 No money, no cry: Surprisingly he doesn’t make much money from his movies and instead makes his moolah with brand endorsements. “For films, my focus is not just money. I do them because I love being an actor.”

4 Family frame: Saif’s forthcoming releases include Eklavya —The Royal Guard, with Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan. It’s the first time he’ll be sharing the screen with his mother, Sharmila Tagore.

5 Road to Rockstar: Saif has hinted that he would like to sing his own songs in movies — as he’s considered quite the musician, having learnt the electric guitar.
