They are considered the Holy Grail of fashion.. the pair of jeans which fit perfectly. But at times finding them seems imposible. After all, we have different body types. So, it's understandable that we don't look fabulous in the same styles.

Body type: petite
Perfect Jeans - Skinny Slimmer

body types are ideal for a variety of jeans. However, slim girls should choose skinny jeans because the slender cut at the calves makes the hips look wider and adds curves to a flat behind.

To make up for a flat derrière, look for jeans with flap pockets, heavy embellishment or embroidery. Slightly higher back pockets can also help.

Offset skinny jeans with a voluminous top. Either tuck them into a pair of slouch boots or pair them with high heels, which will make you look taller and slender.

Body type: Plus size
Perfect Jeans - Boot Cut

Boot-cut jeans are flattering on any body type but they're best suited for pear-shaped bodies. The slightly flared bottom minimises thighs and bal ances out wide hips or a large behind. Opt for jeans in darker shades or with a slight fade as they'll have a naturally slimming effect. Avoid jeans with a relaxed fit as they actually draw attention to wide hips. Also avoid Capri or ankle-length jeans, or low-rise jeans which will have bulges overflowing from the waist.

Instead, choose mid-rise jeans that hit across the belly, not above or below it. The key to these jeans' look is to get them long enough. The hemline should reach the bot tom of the ankle.

If you plan to wear them with heels, the hemline should touch the floor while standing barefoot. This gives a slimmer, taller appearance. The best way to wear boot-cuts is with stilettos or heeled boots.. so leave your flats at home.

Body type: skinny
Perfect Jeans Straight Fit

If you are tall and skinny, your goal is to give the illusion of curves. Straight jeans do just this as they hug the calves, making your hips look wider.

Avoid jeans that are too tight since they will make your legs look even skinnier. Also avoid baggy jeans..they will make you look dis proportionate.

Hip-huggers and relaxed fit jeans are also acceptable. Choose a design with detailed pockets that are high and slightly smaller than those found on most styles.

Pockets will create the illusion of width and lift.

Body type: Athletic
Perfect Jeans Comfort Fit

Your major focus should be to elongate your body. Choose jeans that are fitted. Jeans with a little stretch in them will be perfect. The very straight vertical lines cre ate a slimming, lengthening look. Stay away from wide legged, short or medium waist jeans.

Also steer clear of high waist jeans because they will make you look even shorter. To make your legs look longer, have the hemline hit the floor and wear heels.

If you have a big bottom, watch out for pockets.

Pockets that are small, too high or close together, or decorated can make a large bottom look even bigger. Choosing jeans that have no pock ets at all will draw attention to the area you're trying to camouflage. The best jeans are those that have wide, long pockets that rest wide and low on your bottom.

Low rise jeans with a flared leg will give the illusion of a smaller behind and balance out your shape. To make your hips appear smaller, stick to hip-huggers and low rise jeans.

Darker jeans will help minimise your lower half and a boot cut, flared leg, or wide leg will enhance your figure. Bottomline While buying jeans, it is important to go in for a pair that accentu ates your plus points and hides your flaws.

Think of it as an investment and don't rush the purchase.
