The Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda on Monday visited city police stations in Srinagar and Budgam to review prevailing law and order scenario in the areas and stressed for better coordination among all security agencies.
Khoda, accompanied by Special Director General of CRPF, Joint Director, Intelligence Bureau, senior officers of Police and CRPF visited City Police Stations of Nowhatta, MR Gung in old city and Humhama in District Budgam.
The police chief was briefed by the concerned SHOs about the methods adopted to tackle the challenges.
During the meetings, the DGP stressed for effective deployment while dealing with law and order situation in an area. He urged for minimum use of force to avoid loss of life and property.
