Taking strong notice of the non-serious attitude of doctors and para-medical staff deployed at these centres, the minister issued instructions to the concerned authorities to initiate action against the absentees.

The minister also inspected Government Higher Secondary School, Kharah and found that the principal and other staff members had not reported for duty till 9.00 a.m.

Later speaking at a function organised by Rotary Club Akhnoor in connection with donation of some medical equipment to sub-district hospital there, the minister expressed his anguish and said that punctuality in health institutions will be ensured at all costs and no laxity in this behalf will be tolerated.

Seeking people's cooperation in maintaining punctuality at health institutions, he said that locals should monitor the attendance and give him regular feedback on the performance of health institutions.
