Jaane Kahaan Se... escapes censor scrutiny

india Updated: Mar 27, 2010 17:13 IST

Riteish DeshmukhRiteish Deshmukh and Jaqueline Fernandez starrer Jaane Kahaan Se Aayi Hai is due for release on April 9. The film has received a U/A certificate. So? That's no news! The film probably was looking for that being a romantic comedy. There is a twist. There seems to be some toying with with the Censor Board.

A website has reported that a porn video called The Return of the Pink Pussycats is played many times throughout the film.

The website quoted a source, "The porn video is one of the highlights of the film. It's a very funny track about a DVD that gets circulated among the guys: Vishal Malhotra, Ruslaan Mumtaz and Riteish."

"The Return of the Pink Pussycats is a porn DVD that keeps getting circulated among the characters in the film. There's certain naughtiness to it, and I think it will go down well with my audience. I am happy that the Board has given me a 'U/A' certificate without cuts; there are no complaints," director Milap Zaveri told the tabloid.

As reported despite the jokes and one-liners, the film is basically a romantic comedy.
