Congress MP Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday resumed his Odarpu Yatra in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, after taking a break of four days due to eye infection.
Jagan left for the tour from the residence of his uncle Y V Subba Reddy, where he was staying during in rest.
Jagan unveiled the statues of his late father Y S Rajasekhar Reddy at several villages in the district as part of his yatra.
Highlighting welfare programmes like old age pensions, health insurance scheme and others, initiated by his father, Jagan said the late Chief Minister made a permanent place in the hearts of people.
Jagan was advised rest by his doctor's advice as he suffered from eye infection.
Despite the party High Command's reservations, Jagan had resumed the controversial yatra on September 3 in Prakasam district, a day after the first death anniversary of his father.
Congress High Command, however, indicated that it may not take any action against him for now.
