Choudhary (24) who allegedly raped the victim and fled the city after the crime, however is still at large, police said.

Many teams have been formed to nab the main accused, they added.

Choudhary's bike used in taking the victim to the site of the incident has been recovered, police said, adding that the accused had taken away Rs 4000, mobile phone and camera belonging to the victim.

The medical examination of the victim has been done and her statement recorded in the court, they said.

The police rejected any political connection in the incident and added that another case against Choudhary has been pending with the Dudu police station since 2013.

The victim had come to Jaipur as a tourist on February 8 and was visiting Jal Mahal when Choudhary lured her on the pretext of taking her sight-seeing.

The accused took the victim to a few tourist places during the day on his motorcycle and raped her at night at a deserted place near Mojamabad village in Dudu police area.
