The members of All India Jat Aarakshan Samiti on Saturday urged union minister for social justice and empowerment Kumari
Selja to take early decision on reservation of jobs at her residence here on Friday.

Yash Pal Malik, president of the samiti, said: "It should be a time-bound decision and there is no need to do any survey at this stage. We request you to recommend to the Backward Commission to include Jats in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category for government jobs in the states and at the Centre."

Selja said: "We are seized of the situation but cannot make any comment due to the elections going on in five states of the country. Group of ministers are yet to take any decision."
