Jaya to take up various issues of Tamil Nadu with PM

Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa will take up "various important issues" of the state with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is arriving in Chennai on Sunday on a two-day visit.



"The chief minister will be receiving the Prime Minister at the airport and calling on him at the Raj Bhavan and present a memorandum on various important issues of Tamil Nadu," a government release said.



The Prime Minister is on a two-day visit to the state and is scheduled to participate in functions at Chennai and Karaikudi.http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/HTEditImages/Images/08-12-pg-08b.jpg

Jayalalithaa is likely to take up with him issues including the ongoing Mullaperiyar row and the Koodankulam protests.
