Ten labourers were feared killed and over 20 others suffered critical injuries when their truck fell into a gorge at Bhagwan Ghati, about 60 KM from Garhwa, Jharkhand.

"There are casualties. Only after reaching the spot can we give the exact figure," Superintendent of Police Richard Lakra told newsmen here.

According to sources in Bhavanathpur police station, in whose area the mishap took place, ten persons were feared killed when the truck carrying over 50 labourers overturned and fell in the gorge.

The labourers were returning from Sasaram, where they had been working in the agriculture sector.
