Most men would give an arm and a leg to kiss Keira Knightley. However, Johnny Depp doesn’t happen to be one of them.
The actor, who locked lips with Knightley in the second movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, Dead Man’s Chest, admits that he found the whole experience very “awkward”, because the British beauty happens to be much younger than him.
"The smooches are always so awkward, especially because Keira and I have never been in that kind of situation together. She's, like, three and I'm a thousand!" Hollywoodrag.com quoted him, as telling New magazine.
And, Depp is grateful that Knightley was such a ‘great sport’ about locking lips with her.
"We've known each other for a few years and suddenly it was, 'Are you ready for this?' And you just do it. It becomes more like a stunt in a way. She was a great sport about it," he said.
For Keira however, the situation was very different, for she reveals that she was literally begged director Gore Verbinski to add the kiss between Captain Jack Sparrow and her character Elizabeth Swann.
"I was saying, 'Give me one kiss, just give me one kiss,'" she revealed.
As for how the experience was, well the Oscar winning actress is not complaining about Depp’s skills as a kisser.
"I got it and it was good, really good," she said.
