India's best women's squash player Joshna Chinappa climbed up three places to be 51st in the latest world rankings released on Tuesday.
According to the Women's International Squash Players Association website, Joshna's pre-quarterfinal loss to Shelly Kitchen of New Zealand in the Crocodile Squash Challenge Cup in July helped her move up three places from 54th.
Joshna, 20, who recently won her eight national title here last month, now has 627 points.
The two other Indian girls, Dipika Pallikal and Surbhi Mishra, who have identical 78 points, also moved two places up and are now tied at 126th.
Pallikal lost to Tricia Chuah of Malaysia and Mishra was ousted by Pakistan's Carla Khan in the qualifying rounds of the Qatar Airways Challenge in Hyderabad, also in July.
