A senior journalist with a national Hindi daily was allegedly looted at gun point by unidentified persons near Thapri More in Bihar's Munger district, police said on Wednesday.

"Dinesh Singh who works in Patna was stopped at the spot late last night by some unidentified persons and robbed of a gold chain, ring, five mobile sets and Rs 20,000 in cash," Superintendent of Police M Sunil Nayak said.

He was returning to Munger from Kharagpur along with secretary of Red Cross Society Jai Kishore Santosh when the criminals stopped their vehicle and looted them.
