The Jurassic Park actor Jeff Goldbum is one dedicated actor and is ready to go to any length to shoot a good scene.
The star recently ate mouthful of mud in a scene for his forthcoming film 'Adam Resurrected'.
The actor who starred in 'Jurassic Park' and later in its sequel 'Jurassic Park 2,' plays a Holocaust survivor who struggles with his unstable mental condition in his latest movie, Contactmusic reported.
Film's director Paul Schrader convinced the actor to swallow the mud as it was an integral part of the movie.
"When we shot that scene towards the end of the movie in the graveyard, Paul said, "You've done some extravagant things, so this calls for something simple. It was the moment I was supposed to lose my mind and we fashioned the scene where I'm eating this flour," Goldbum said.
He admitted his skepticism when Paul asked him to put a handful of dirt from the mound of the grave and eat it. Goldbum even requested the director to give him something which was edible as dirt. However he later ate the mud and gave a convincing shot.
The actor says that eating the dirt was something of a deep experience for him as well as the director.
