While popstar Britney Spears doesn’t have to put in much effort to stay in the public eye, her estranged husband Kevin Federline is apparently busy trying to land himself a reality TV show in order to extend his 15 minutes of fame.
The former backup dancer, is in negotiations to develop his own reality series with Kenneth Crear, the brains behind hit show ‘House Of Carters’, which follows the exploits of pop stars Nick and Aaron Carter and their siblings as they attempt to live together.
"It's true. We are in talks about this. Kevin came to me because he liked the way I shot the 'House of Carters' series and the way I made Nick
Carter look real and trustworthy. I gave people a different perspective of him and made people really respect him," the Bosh quoted Crear as saying.
Federline won't however be using the show as a way to get back at soon-to-be ex-wife, Britney Spears.
"Kevin doesn't dislike or hate Britney. The show will show him for who he is but [will] not smear her. It was just a marriage that didn't work out, but it will show who he is beyond that," he added.
Crear reveals he and Federline are looking to develop eight episodes that will run over three months on US TV.
It is not the first time that Federline is working on a reality TV show - he starred alongside his wife in the much-maligned home video series Chaotic, which chronicled the couple's courtship.
