The Karnataka Police on Tuesday thanked the Kerala Police for their "cooperation" in ensuring the arrest of Abdul Nasser Madani in Kollam District in Kerala.

"We wholeheartedly thank Kerala Police for their kind cooperation and help without which it would not have been possible for Karnataka Police to arrest Madani", Director General and Inspector General of Police Ajai Kumar Singh said in a press statement.

"We particularly thank DG&IGP, Kerala, IGP, Southern Range, Thiruvananthapuram and SP, Kollam District", he said.

"I also appreciate the work done by the Bangalore City Police and particularly, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime Alok Kumar in this connection", Singh said.
