Two months after the Karontha clash that left three dead, including a married woman, the district administration on Thursday sought evidences and other related documents to take further action in the case.
Additional deputy commissioner (ADC) RC Birdhan, who has been entrusted the task of conducting magisterial probe by chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, after violence broke out between Arya Samajis and supporters of Sant Rampal Dass on May 12 this year.
After the Karontha mayhem hit the national headlines, a magisterial probe was ordered by the government to take stern action against those responsible for the law and order situation.
Birdhan, who started the magisterial probe in the last week of June, had asked the interested parties to come up with their evidences or documents in the related case.
In a press release, Birdhan said: "Anyone can come to my office at Zila Vikas Bhawan here with evidences and proof till August 1."
