The Arya Samaj Pratinidi Sabha, Satlok management (Sant Rampal) and police will submit their documents, video proof and other material evidences before the additional deputy commissioner in May 12 Karontha clash by August 1.
Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had ordered a magisterial probe into the violence at Karontha village of the district, 12 km from here, which left three persons dead, including a woman.
The clash had broken out between activists of Arya Samaj and followers of Sant Rampal after Karontha-based Satlok Ashram was handed over to Sant Rampal.Hundreds of police personnel and administrative officials had sustained injuries in the clash.
The clash was fallout of long-standing hostilities between the warring groups. While Arya Samajis termed Rampal's claim on Satlok Ashram illegal, Rampal's followers termed it their right with the Supreme Court nod.
Additional deputy commissioner (ADC) RC Birdhan, who was entrusted the responsibility of conducting the magisterial probe, had started investigating it 22 days after the incident and had sought evidences from public, including warring parties, by August 1 at his office.
Talking to Hindustan Times, Birdhan said: "By now, neither the warring parties nor any individual has deposited any evidence at my office, but still two days are left and they are welcome to submit their input for investiagtion."
A senior leader of Arya Samaj, who led the agitation on May 12, said: "An Arya Samaj delegation will deposit documents, video tapes and other related evidences before the ADC either on Wednesday or Thursday."
