“Is there a CD player in your cell?” said the judge.

The judge told him that the CDs are part of the court proceedings and copies were provided to his lawyer Abbas Kazmi.

Special prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam had reminded the court about the prosecution’s application for screening of CCTV footage in which movements of Kasab and Ismail behind the Times of India building, have been captured. Kasab and Ismail were captured by CCTV cameras after they exited the CST from the rear foot over-bridge. The footage shows them loading their guns and checking if the doors of any parked vehicles were unlocked.

Defence lawyer Abbas Kazmi opposed the screening of the CCTV footage saying it would not serve any purpose other than entertaining the media.

The judge would give his ruling on Wednesday over showing the CCTV footage.
