On day 2 of his three-day long election tour of Uttar Pradesh, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Kanpur along with senior party leaders such as Ashutosh, Rakhi Birla and Kapil Mishra.

UP with its 80 Lok Sabha seats is crucial to the general elections and the AAP is making massive efforts to find a toe-hold in the state.

In the last two general elections, Kanpur elected Congress leader Sriprakash Jaiswal as its MP.

The AAP chief Arivnd Kejriwal will be addressing a rally at Ramlila Maidan here.

At 1.40 pm on Sunday, he arrived at the venue, a little while after Abhishek Singh, grandson of martyr Bhagat Singh, reached the place with some AAP leaders. Singh has recently joined the party.

Nearly 45 leaders have applied for the AAP ticket from Kanpur.
