The CBI filed an application for the attachment of immovable property of key accused Amit Kumar and a few other accused. The CBI in the application mentioned the list of 12 residential and commercial properties of Amit existing in the various posh colonies of Gurgaon worth crore of rupees.
The CBI filed the second application for issuing of a letter to the competent judicial authority in Canada through the department of justice so that it can investigate some persons there associated with the scam.
In the application, the CBI mentioned that Amit had shifted his wife Poonam and his two sons to Canada. Poonam happened to be the director of Liberty Health Care Pvt Ltd under which the hospital of Gurgaon was being run.
Among the nine accused who were produced before the court on Thursday included Amit, Upender, KK Aggarwal, nurse Linda and three other accused.
The court discharged two of the accused -- Ramesh and Suresh -- from the case, as their names were not mentioned in the CBI charge sheet.
The CBI filed three applications in the court today while the defence counsel filed two more applications. It also submitted a list of 11 properties of Upender in Faridabad and Ballabhgarh and a list of two properties of Jeevan.
