Killed Punjab cop was family's sole bread earner

With the murder of ASI Ravinder Pal Singh, his family is left in pain. The ASI, who fought for his daughter and was murdered on the road, was the sole bread earner of the family.

The cop is survived 23-year-old daughter Robanjeet Kaur, son Navpreet Singh who lives in Australia and wife Paramjit Kaur.

The family has a house in village Rampura near Khasa and was ASI was posted at the police station Gharinda before he was murdered on the main road.

"The family is finished. ASI Ravinder Pal Singh was the backbone of the family and was the only earning hand. The Akali leader has destroyed the entire family," said a village resident Mahavir Singh.

The villagers who were mourning the murder of the cop demanded that Akali Dal must introspect ands see what their leaders are doing.

Family sources claimed that the family depended on the salary of the cop and does not have much agricultural or commercial land.
