A CPI (M) leader on Thursday expressed doubt over the voice of Maoist top gun Kishenji speaking to the media and calling for mutual ceasefire with the Centre for three months and initiating talks.
"I have grave doubt about Kishenji's voice. I have heard it in the past, but the present voice has no similarity to it," CPI (M) politburo member Biman Bose told reporters on the sidelines of a workers' meeting in Barasat in North 24-Parganas district.
To a question, he said that the Centre should take a decision about steps to resolve the Maoist problem.
"I strongly feel that Centre should not waste time to resolve the Maoist problem and find a solution," he said.
