Kite flyer's spectacular show in J&K

World renowned kite flyer Pappu Bhai Rasul Bahi on Tuesday, mesmerised visitors at the Nehru Memorial Botanical gardens in Srinagar by hoisting 1100 kites in Indian tricolour on two strings.

The kite flyer from Gujarat put up the spectacular show at the request of department of Gardens and Parks in order to attract more visitors to public gardens in the foothills of Zabarwan hill range near Dal lake in Srinagar.

Rasul Bhai had prepared two strings of kites -- one had all the kites resembling Indian tricolour while the other had photographs of cricketers.

Rasul Bhai, who has won several national and international kite flying competitions, said he was pleased to perform in the state for the first time and would like to visit it again.
