Lage raho Jagmohanji

The country is fortunate that few politicians like Jagmohan are still raising their voice against corruption and politics of convenience. His views clearly show what he stands for. It is a fact that to run an organisation or for that matter a nation you can not make everybody happy and seldom require to take tough stands in best and overall interest of nation or an organisation.

Appropos the article by Honourable Shri Jagmohan titled "Sealing our fate" in Hindustan Times.

The country is fortunate that at least there are a few politicians like him who are still raising their voice against corruption and politics of convenience. His views clearly show what he stands for. It is a fact that to run an organisation or that for that matter a nation you can not make everybody happy and seldom require to take tough stands in best and overall interest of nation or an organisation.

I have been following him since he was DDA chairman and his critics dubbed him as "bulldozer man" and later as governor of J&K as "dictator". But he has left his indelible mark in whatever task assigned to him.

In J&K, it is now common knowledge that he was instrumental in freeing the "Vaishno Devi Shrine" from vested interests. We are now experiencing the benefits of his foresightedness in relieving Delhi of the illegal polluting industries. Unfortunately, there are no takers of such upright, honest and true patriots both in the ruling party as well as the party to which he belongs.

All right thinking people of this country, I am sure, would wholeheartedly support his crusade.

Long live Jagmohan sahib.
