Have you seen any Bollywood films?
Of course, my mother was hooked on them. Through the '70s and '80 she was only watching Hindi hits. To be honest I didn't watch too many at the time, but of late, I've got addicted too. I find Indian actresses very beautiful. I've seen some of Nagesh's films too.

You had a premonition that you were going to be featuring in one soon?
No, no, it's pure luck that I landed the lead in Bombay to Bangkok. Nagesh was auditioning girls in Thailand. I went too. There were over 100 girls around. Frankly, I didn't think I stood a chance.

So what's your take on Nagesh Kukunoor?
He's an amazingly nice guy. I've worked with some really tense directors but Nagesh is complete ly chilled out even though work is his passion.

You had problems speaking Hindi?
Not really. Nagesh wanted me to speak Hindi the way a Thai would. I also had to speak a little English.

Who are your favourite Indian actors?
Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit - they are amazing!

How different is a Bollywood movie from a Thai one?
The major difference is that we don't have much singing and dancing in our movies. I have my show on TV, I teach aerobics and dancing. But Indian naach gaana is a completely different ball game. It required plenty of practice but it was also good fun.
