LeT militant surrenders at LoC

A LeT militant surrendered before security forces at the LoC soon after he crossed into J&K from Pakistan occupied Kashmir in Rajouri district.

A Lashker-e-Taiba militant surrendered on Wednesday before security forces at the Line of Control (LoC) soon after he crossed into Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) in Rajouri district.

The LeT militant 25-year-old Khalil Ahmed crossed into Vir Badashver forward area in Keri-Chingus belt of Rajouri district from PoK early on Wednesday, official sources told PTI.

He was arrested and sent to interrogation centre, they said adding that Ahmed a resident of Mangote area of Thanamandi tehsil of the district had crossed to PoK in June 2002 for arms training.
