‘Mann Ki Baat’ highlights: PM Modi urges people to save every drop of water

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Sunday in the 20th edition of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme of the All India Radio.
Modi had earlier urged people to give ideas for his popular radio programme. “Urging you to give ideas for #MannKiBaat to be held this Sunday. You can also call on 1800-11-7800,” the PM had written on Twitter.
Here are highlights of the radio broadcast:
- On June 21, International Day of Yoga I will join a programme in Chandigarh.
- Over last few days exam results have been coming. Congratulations to all candidates for their scores. Happy to see girl students shine.
- Gaurav from MP commented he scored 89% and I was very happy but he said his family was not happy and they wanted him to get 90%.
- Gaurav, I have read your letter and I am sure there are many like you out there.
- Why to find negativity from everything. It would be better if everyone around you had celebrated your scores.
