'Look-out notices' will soon be issued against top Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives Abu Hamza and Mujjamil alias Yusuf, wanted in the 26/11 terror attack trial, with prosecution on Wednesday submitting details about them to a special court.
Judge M L Tahaliyani took on record passport numbers and other details about Pakistan nationals, Hamza and Mujjamil, submitted by special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam.
These details, containing their assumed names, addresses and passport numbers, would be incorporated in non-bailable warrants issued earlier and sent to Mumbai Police Commissioner and Director of CBI who would, in turn, submit it to the Interpol.
The Interpol would then issue 'look out notices' for the wanted LeT operatives, Prosecutor Nikam told PTI.
According to prosecution, passport number of Abu Hamza is KE 61641 and his assumed name is Mohammed Ramdan Siddiqui while date of birth is January 5, 1976. Mujjammil alias Yusus has two passports whose numbers are CA-35777 and AO-8914861.
On June 23, the trial court had issued non-bailable warrants against 22 absconding Pakistani nationals, including Abu Hamza, Mujjamil, Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafeez Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Laqvi, chief of operations of Lashkar-e-Toiba after prosecution informed the court the role played by them in the conspiracy to unleash terror in Mumbai.
They had allegedly trained arrested gunman Mohammed Ajmal Kasab and nine others in terror warfare.
