Loreto incident nothing new

india Updated: Sep 11, 2006 18:01 IST

Whatever happened at Loreto convent in Lucknow may have come as a rude surprise to you and many of viewers but not for me. I have been associated with these Christian missionaries for the last six years during my tenure as head of the paediatric department Fatima Hospital, C-35 Mahanagar, Lucknow - UP.

This hospital is owned and run by a charitable society called medical sisters of St Joseph. The basic purpose of these hospitals and educational institutions is to generate faith of the majority community in Lord Jesus and Christianity. It is a common practice at Fatima hospital to garland the sick newborn children with a rosary bearing cross without the permission of the parents and sprinkle different kind of holy waters on sick children and if the child improves the mischievous nuns tell the illiterate parents that it was Lord Jesus and Christianity which has cured your child.

They are then invited to visit church and what happens next you can easily imagine. Please investigate yourself how much money is coming to these Christian missioners and from where?
