Love marriage? 'Knot' for us!

Many celebs believe in love marriage but a few differ. Read to know about celebs who did not take the risk of making the biggest decision of their life all by themselves.

Manisha Koirala, has decided to go by her parent's wishes, after breaking off with long-term beau Christopher Dorris. The actress would be tying the knot with Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal in June this year.

Unlike Manisha, a majority of show-town celebs seem to believe in love marriage. But there are few who could not take the risk of making the biggest decision of their life by themselves.

Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit features on top of this list. The popular actress tied the knot with Colorado-based doctor, Shriram Nene in a hush-hush ceremony in US. The couple later threw a grand reception in Mumbai.

Another reigning queen of Bollywood, Karisma Kapur, who after breaking off the engagement with Bachchan Jr, chose to marry her childhood friend Sanjay Kapur. The marriage ran into rough weather, but recuperated with the passage of time.

Even the Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman opted for an arranged marriage with Saira, daughter of a Madras-based businessman. The couple has two daughters Kathija and Raheema and a son Roomi.

Few people know that veteran actress Rakhee Gulzar was in an arranged wedlock with Bengali filmmaker Ajay Biswas, before divorcing him and tying the knot with lyricist Gulzar.

Thanks to the advent of reality television, even the channels are proving to be matchmakers these days. Ask Rahul Mahajan who's blissfully married to wannabe model Dimpy Ganguly, who was one of the fifteen girls chosen for Imagine's reality show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

With so many celebs falling for arranged marriage, we wonder if more reality TV shows would follow and capitalise on our TV watching space.
