THE LCC unit of Lucknow University Associated Colleges Teacher’s Association (LUACTA) held an emergency meeting and demanded action against principal BP Masih. The LUACTA office-bearers alleged largescale financial irregularities in the admission process through sale of fake forms this year.
The Higher Education Department has already constituted an inquiry committee to look into the misuse of public funds in the college and other financial irregularities.
The general body regretted that an inquiry committee set up by the college management in September this year had not convened a single meeting till date.
“ This is an indication that the management is shielding someone”, a spokesperson said. Principal BP Masih allegedly intimidated staff when a protest was raised regarding the misuse of funds.
Allegations have been made in writing by manager PR Hamlin, regarding financial irregularities on the part of the principal, his foreign visits and amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
