A source said that the footballers wives and significant others such as Victoria Beckham, who will all travel together on the same flight to Germany as their men, are only being allowed to take just one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage with them.

"The girls are in a panic about the luggage restrictions. They have been told that if they want to take any more bags out there they will have to make their own arrangements and do it at their own expense. They are limited to one case and one smaller bag," The Sun quoted the source, as saying.

"Even for a weekend these women take several cases to carry their designer outfits. And they could end up being away for a month, depending on how the team get on," the source added.
