Madhya Pradesh: Gamblers open fire at police team in Bhind, cop injured

A police team was attacked during raid at Udotpura village under Bhind Dehat police station in the district on Thursday. According to police, the police team raided at Udotpura village on Thursday evening. The gamblers opened fire at police team in which a constable sustained injuries. The injured was admitted to government district hospital, Bhind.

Sources said that sub-inspector Mukesh Thakur, Ashish Sharma, assistant sub-inspector Pradeep Tyagi and around one dozen police constables raided at the spot. When the gamblers got the information they opened fire at police team. A constable Bhikharilal Tyagi sustained critical injuries.

City superintendent of police Virendra Tomar said the police team was sent to catch gamblers at Udotpura village where the gamblers attacked the police force. Police have caught three persons.
