Madonna's first concert in Russia will be pushed back one day to September 12 amid fears of inadequate security provisions.
It was feared that students could fall from their windows watching the show at the original venue in Vorobyovye Gory near a university.
Organisers and city officials have agreed to stage the live show at the larger Luzhniki stadium, the home venue of the Spartak Moscow football team.
"This is excellent news for fans, since Luzhniki has a larger capacity then the location at Vorobyovy Gory. Luzhniki is also more acceptable in terms of safety," Contactmusic quoted organiser Mikhail Shurygin as saying.
