Her concert in Moscow is not the only thing that Madonna is looking forward to when she performs in the Russian capital soon, for it seems that she’s also lined up a date with President Vladimir Putin and his daughters.
A source close to the Hung Up singer, who is scheduled to perform in Moscow on September 11 as part of her Confessions world tour, revealed that Madge had been eager to meet the Russian president for quite some time, and while he wasn’t too sure about it, having daughters who are huge fans of the queen of pop certainly seems to have lent a helping hand.
“This has been on the cards for a while. She really wanted to meet him but he wasn’t sure initially. But his daughters are big fans so he eventually agreed,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.
As for what they’re going to converse about, well the source is betting that the hot favourite topic will be world peace rather than the singer’s controversial crucifixion stunt.
“No doubt Madonna will want to talk about world peace rather than her raunchy dance moves on stage,” the insider added.
