BHARAT SEVASHRAM SANGHA – a socio-cultural & philanthropic organisation will celebrate its two-day ‘Maghi Poornima’ function on February 10 & 11 at Sai Prem Bal Udhyan, Shakti Nagar.
The in-charge of Bharat Sevashram Sangha’s Bhopal unit, Swami Arpitananda said the celebration would be held to commemorate the birth anniversary of its founder Swami Pranavananda Maharaj.
“Swamiji was born in 1896, who emerged as a spiritual leader in the 19 th century and inspired thousands of freedom fighters by organizing the youths for the Indian freedom struggle,” he mentioned.
He said keeping with the tradition and spirit of Swami Pranavananda, who established a large number of educational institutions across the country, the Bhopal unit too runs Homeopathic dispensary, Su-Jok acupuncture and yoga centres at Shakti Nagar.
The Bhopal unit of the Sangha on February 11 would organise bhajan, pujan, Gita-path, Vishwashanti Yangya and bhog distribution from 10 am to 2.30 pm.
The chief guest of the function is principal secretary, Finance, Sumit Bose and shall be presided over by the secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Swami Bhavrupananda.
Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Mumbai unit’s Swami Prashant Nanda Maharaj will give a special address.
