Maharashtra Govt transfers 29 IAS officers

Maharashtra government on Friday transferred 29 IAS officers, including Additional Chief Secretary Higher and Techincal Education Joyce Sankaran and Principal Secretary School Education, Sharvaree Gokhale.

While Sankaran, wife of former Chief Secretary D K Sankaran, has been appointed as additional chief secretary Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Gokhale, has been shifted as principal secretary (appeals) in the Revenue and Forest Department.

Sanjay Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Aurangabad, has been shifted as Secretary School Education while Sitaram Kunte, who was Secretary to Governor, has been appointed Secretary (Housing).

Principal Secretary 2 in urban development T C Benjamin, has been elevated as Principal Secretary 1 in the same department.

Labour Commissioner B D Sanap has been shifted as managing director of the adivasi development corporation at Nashik. Harshdeep Kamble, deputy secretary, Water Resources, has been appointed chief executive officer in Khadi Gramodyog, Mumbai.

Sudhir Khanapure, former OSD to Union Home Minister, has been shunted out of Pune Municipal Corporation and appointed to the cream post of additional IG, Stamps, Mumbai.

Pankaj Kumar, deputy secretary in Labour Department has been appointed as CEO of Beed Zilla Parishad in place of B G Wagh, who has been shifted as CEO of Nashik Zilla Parishad.
