With the mercury touching a record high, it’s time to don your swimming costume.
NDMC has five swimming pools in Nehru Park, Laxmi Bai Nagar, Mandir Marg, Talkatora Garden and Sarojini Nagar. Services of lifeguards and swimming coaches are available. Monthly fee is Rs 60 for students and Rs 400 for general public. The pools are available only to NDMC residents or government officials.

Khazan Singh Academy
Equipped with an Olympic sized pool, the academy near JNU is sports hero Khazan Singh’s contribution. For the first month, it costs Rs. 1,500 for non-swimmers, which includes training, and Rs 1,000 for trained swimmers. From the second month onwards, it is Rs. 800.

DLF City Club, Gurgaon
The family membership is open to DLF residents at Rs 60,000 for two years. Besides swimming, the services include squash courts, card room and table tennis.

Timings: 6-11am and 4-9pm, from Monday to Friday, Sat-Sun, 6 am to 9 pm (Wednesdays closed)
DDA Sports Complex
It has sports facilities including swimming at its complexes like Saket, Siri Fort, Dwarka, Surajmal Vihar, Dilshad Garden, Ashok Vihar, Hari Nagar, Pitampura and Rohini. Lifetime membership is Rs 11,030. Temporary membership is Rs 1,103 with an additional Rs 1,500 for swimming for three months.

Indian Aquatic Academy
The pool with 100 lockers accommodates 30 people at one time. Rs 1,200 monthly.
