We all yearn for life-long financial and emotional security. This produces fear in us. The sense of achievements and failures give birth to fear.
Fear plays a big role in our lives. Yes, it is true, it had blocked my path numerous times and still continues to do so. But let me tell you, if it has also been good to me, at times. Fear challenged me to take risks where I really wanted to achieve something and at the end I thanked it for helping me overcoming my hesitation.
Like anyone else, I too have walked miles and miles all alone. There were times when I had no one on whose shoulders I could rest my head or just even speak out my mind. It becomes difficult to walk in an estranged land with different things/ possibilities hovering over mind. I had no choice but to walk alone; and so during that journey I shook hands with my fear. The phobia of fear has done me good; it has taught me how to face fear. And see, this friendship did wonders! It ‘gifted’ me courage that proved to be one of my key assets.
Now when I walk, I see many doors. Among them, there many that are locked, opened or can be opened with little effort. These doors welcome me, though for some I have to try hard to find the right keys. Each room is different with different colours and shapes; some of them to my liking and some others not.
In simple words, there are two ways to visualise the rooms. Either get adapted to them or change their decor to match with all the interior. The journey through the maze of life will be a long and arduous one. Let not the fear stop the traveller in you from exploring the adventures of life.
