Manavjit Singh Sandhu of Punjab won the men's trap National Championship title with a score of 142/150 at the Karni Singh Ranges on Friday.

The champion, who went into the finals tied with veteran Mansher Singh on 121/125 at the conclusion of the qualification round, shot a fine 21/25 in the finals to aggregate 142. Hyderabad's Kynan Chenai with 139 (118+21) clinched silver, while veteran Anwer Sultan of UP with 137 (117+20) clinched bronze. The trap team title went to Punjab.

Results MEN (Final) 1. Manavjit Singh Sandhu (Pun) 121+21 (142), 2. Kynan Chenai (AP) 118+21 (139), Anwer Sultan (UP) 117+20 (137).

WOMEN: 1. Seema Tomar (Army) 68+21 (89), 2. Shagun Chowdhary (ONGC) 65+20 (85), 3. Snehlata Rathore (Hry) 62+17 (79).
